The perfect place, whether you're taking the family out to dinner or looking to take the mistress out for a few drinks. The outdoor patio is my favorite summer spot for a brewski and the sexy wait staff never disappoints. The veal parm is good enough to bring you back to Jesus, and I guarantee you that tinder date will be begging to take you home after you buy her a cheese pizza. 10/10 recommend.

Where do I start...? My husband and I went in while our kids were at a football game... the place was not packed by any means.... we are seated and given two pieces of bread with a dribble of dipping sauce. 8 minutes later our waitress comes over and takes our order after I had to ask the hostess if we could get drinks. We ordered drinks(iced tea and Jameson on the rocks) , three appetizer specials- one of which was to be an entree- (French onion soups and fish tacos) and a specials entree (sausage and chicken penne). 18 minutes later our soup comes out, 15 minutes later the tacos come and I sit and watch my husband eat as I wait for my meal, which to no surprise comes well after he is finished. (During our wait, my husband finished his drink and had to ask for another when the waitress came to clear our plates. )The portion size was despicable! For $15 I would have expected not to see the bottom of my bowl. Two slivers of sausage and four pathetic strips of chicken are hidden under a cup of pasta. Broccoli rabe and tomatoes were sparse, no garlic in site and there was a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese... not enough to even taste it. There was no sauce, ok... maybe a tsp of olive oil, and that's being generous! After three bites I was disgusted and pushed my plate away. The waitress asked if we wanted any dessert. Now we've been there for an hour and 15 minutes, still hungry and pretty annoyed. I told her how unimpressed we were with our meals and the service to which she seemed to understand and took my criticism very well (kudos to her). Time to pay our check and the pasta I sent back was on the bill!!!! My family owns a fine dining restaurant, so I know customer service and this was by far the worst experience I've had in a very long time. The decor has improved but the food and service are very poor. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere. We will never go back and that's very sad considering we live a few miles down the road.

On a positive note the waiter and bartender were very delightful. Mushroom soap was pretty good.

Now the food; I made the mistake of ordering the "fish and chips", I had a feeling they would be bad and boy was I right.

The fish wasn't fresh even though I asked if was. It was absolutely covered in grease, when I took a bite the batter wasn't fluffy or crunchy the "chips" were cut to look like potato lays chips instead of traditional wedges and dripping with oil.

About 18 minutes after leaving; now I feel nauseated.

I came here once for their Octoberfest and loved it. Good beer, good wings, and good pizza. Now I've been here for dinner. Chicken wings are still good, chicken piccata was very very good and had a pecan brownie sundae . The staff is very friendly. The inside is cozy and has a nice little bar. Quite a little gem on route 6.

I arrived at 7:50 p.m. I've never been to this restaurant so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I first walked in I was surprised at how cozy and rustic the place was. I was also surprised that there was not another Patron in the restaurant. I was greeted by the waitress promptly with menus. She brought back warm fresh bread with butter and a glass of water. I ordered dinner at roughly 7:58 p.m. I chose to have spaghetti with one meatball. I did not get my meal until 8:30 p.m.  She came back in between to tell me that the reason why it was taking so long was "because I ordered the pasta al dente". I said "that doesn't make any sense... Al Dente takes less time". I really wasn't too hungry and didn't care too much it was just that I was getting antsy just sitting there. When my meal arrived it was piping hot. I would have to say there was at least one entire pound of pasta in the bowl with a somewhat generous portion of marinara sauce. Being irritated for having to wait so long and not really being that hungry I was indecisive about actually eating because it was getting late and I don't like to eat too late. Anyway you want to know how the food was right? So when food is really hot it really doesn't taste so great. So initially at the restaurant I didn't think that the pasta sauce was terrific or the meatball for that matter. It was cooked al dente just the way I like it. I took a few bites of it and it was just ok. I had it wrapped up and brought it home. When I got home I decided to try some more to see if my opinion would change and I'm glad I did. The sauce was about two and a half Stars but the meatball was closer to 3 and tasted more like my mom's - I haven't been able to find any restaurant that comes close to my mother's meatballs. You can't really give a whole lot of reviews about pasta sauce unless it's outstanding like Anabelle's in Unionville, or Frappa's in Warwick, or Buca di Peppo's but it was better than diner sauce. I don't want to give this place a bad review because some of the food reviews show really nice pictures of potential delicious meals.
